Thaddeus A. Greene and the So & So’s
The Thaddeus Greene project has wrapped up here and it is rocking!
We tracked the project almost entirely live and had a blast doing it. This is a great band that plays really well together. We just set up some mics, dialed in some headphone mixes, and hit the RECORD button. Do yourself a favor and ...
Rob Duskey & The Rounders
Oh my goodness! We've been working really hard on this record for a couple of months and we're on the home stretch. It looks like tomorrow (well, today) is going to be the final day of tracking. Everyone did a great job ... including myself. Thats right, me too.
I think I'll reward myself with a ...
Dynamics Rule!
I'm pretty excited to see an organized effort behind what many engineers have been complaining about for years. The "Loudness Wars" have been especially tough on mastering engineers.
Here's hoping that Dynamic Range Day raising awareness among artists and music fans alike.

Thug Magick
I recently finished up the mixes for the Thug Magick recording. It all turned out well and I'm excited to check out the final product once it's mastered and all that good stuff. It always feels great to finish a project. Hopefully I can post a song when it's all ready to go.
South Beach Studios
I spent two weeks co-producing the new Of Fate And Chance EP at South Beach Studios in September. We worked a ton a hours and are looking forward to hearing some mixes in the coming weeks.
Shaw’s Landing
I just finished doing some work on a couple of drum tracks for the band "Shaw's Landing."

I recently spent the better part of a week out in New Jersey with the band "Of Fate and Chance." These are some really great people and I'm glad to be involved with what they are doing. The band is working on demos for the next record and we're going through all of their material ...
Tinamou EP in progress

If we can stay on schedule (which we haven't entirely done so far), we'll be finished tracking following two more days of studio time. Earlier today we finished violin, tracked all the bass guitar, and even had a saxophone player ...
“You Never Knew,” International Songwriting Competition Semi-Finalist
I'm proud to announce that Attack Cat's "You Never Knew" has been selected as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. Though it is a songwriting competition, I'm still very excited to have the studio associated with a song that has received a "nod" from the ISC.
The song was entered in the Pop/Top 40 category ...
Quick in-house live recording
We set up Attack Cat in a semi-cirle and through a mic in front of each person. Hit the record button and "off we go!" A couple of takes later we had an acoustic swing version of "I have A Plan," an acoustic demo of a new song, and cover song (further listening revealed that ...
